Lung Saskatchewan’s community-oriented youth engagement program Youth4Change (Y4C) completed its funding agreement with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) at the end of March. Thank you to PHAC for three years of support, which allowed Y4C to achieve (and surpass!) many of the program’s goals in tobacco education, prevention, cessation, and advocacy initiatives.

From April 24th-26th, members of our Health Promotion (HP) Team attended Canada's 13th annual radon conference, CARST (Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists), in Moncton, New Brunswick.

With a single word to describe the night - Spectacular! - the 2024 Cabaret shined a spotlight on lung health.

Thank you to the community of St. Gregor! The Lung Sask Health Promotion team was joined by lung cancer ambassador Christine Elliott and radon mitigators Todd Despins (Vent Pro Mechanical) and Tysan Jones (All Sask Radon) in hosting an evening radon information session in St. Gregor, SK.

The Lung Saskatchewan Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday June 7th, 2024 at 3:00 PM (CST).

One of our awesome youth from the Melfort Youth4Change chapter was awarded the Youth Citizen of the Year Award in Melfort, SK for her work in the community!
