A lung transplant journey can be overwhelming and those who receive a lung transplant must adopt new behaviours and monitor their health and medications for good health outcomes. Creative mobile health solutions can enhance the quality of care for Saskatchewan residents, especially for those living in remote or rural settings
In their project titled Facilitating self-management throughout the lung and kidney transplant journey with HELP (the Health Education and Learning Platform) principle investigators Dr. Holly Mansell and Dr. Nathaniel Osgood from the University of Saskatchewan are developing a new mobile health app, the Health Education and Learning Platform (HELP), to support the lung transplant journey.
