Congratulations Donna Turner!

Lung Saskatchewan would like to congratulate Donna Turner for receiving the A. Les McDonald Award at the recent Canadian Network for Respiratory Care conference in Vancouver, BC, November 18, 2023.

The A. Les McDonald Award is awarded for innovation and excellence in respiratory care and education and is given to a healthcare professional who has made an outstanding contribution to respiratory care and education through their professional practice.

A semi-retired Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) from the city of Prince Albert, Donna is a long serving volunteer and friend of Lung Saskatchewan.  For decades, Donna has been a contributor for numerous Lung Saskatchewan public, patient, and professional education activities, has served on numerous planning committees for professional education events, and continues to serve as a faculty member for RESPTREC, Lung Saskatchewan’s training program for health professionals pursuing advanced training in respiratory illness and disease.
