Who is Eligible?
To be Eligible:
- Individuals must be Saskatchewan residents.
- Expenses must be incurred within the past 12 months.
- Applicants may receive up to $500 per calendar year, except for patients and their caregivers who are awaiting or who have received a lung transplant may receive up to $1000 per calendar year

Lung Transplant Recipients & Primary Caregivers
If you or your loved one has or is undergoing a lung transplant, some of your expenses may be reimbursed by the Caring Breaths program. Please review the criteria and the expenses covered to see if you are eligible.
People with Lung Disease & Primary Caregivers
If you or your loved one live with a lung disease, some of your expenses may be covered by the Caring Breaths program. Please review the criteria above and the expenses covered to see if you are eligible.
Radon Mitigation / Reduction Recipients
Mitigation work must be completed by a certified Canadian-National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP) radon reduction expert. Reimbursement will only be considered for an applicant’s primary residence.
