Tina Campbell is a Registered Nurse and works as the TB Advisor for the Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority in Prince Albert. NITHA serves 33 First Nations communities with a population of 55,000 and growing. Tina also serves as a co-chair of Stop TB Canada, which is a network of people, organizations and communities committed to ending TB at home and abroad.
Tina is an Indigenous woman of Cree ancestry and lived a majority of her life in Nunavut, where she also began her career working with patients affected by TB. Tina heavily advocates for cultural orientation for every health care professional providing TB Care, which focuses on learning the historical events regarding TB and the Indigenous population.
