Saskatchewan has one of the highest rates of youth vaping in Canada. Youth vape rates continue to rise at an alarming rate, which is why it is becoming increasingly important to educate students in our province on this issue.

With support from the Government of Saskatchewan’s Ministries of Health and Education and in collaboration with Saskatchewan youth and educators, Lung Sask has developed vaping resources for Grades 4-6 and 7-9 classrooms. The resources are titled “kNOw Vaping,” and there are five chapters. Each chapter includes a video and accompanying activities for students and is tied to Health Curricular Outcomes. Teachers can deliver chapters all together or each as a stand-alone lesson. The resources are adaptable, easy to implement, and online-friendly.
