Radon and Lung Cancer: Personal Stories from Eight Canadians
This special edition of CR3 magazine shares the powerful stories of eight radon ambassadors and patients advocates from across Canada, many of whom believe their lung cancer diagnosis was connected to the high levels of radon they found in their homes. These brave advocates share their experiences in the hope that they may encourage other Canadians to take action and test their homes for radon.
Special thanks to Jacquelyn E. Nixon, IASLC PRA, for her work on the production of this magazine. Jackie, a lung cancer survivor and LiveLung PA State Coordinator, serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Citizens for Radioactive Radon Reduction (CR3). Her dedication and expertise played a crucial role in bringing these impactful stories to light.
