St. Gregor Residents Embrace Radon Awareness Workshop

Thank you to the community of St. Gregor!

The Lung Sask Health Promotion team was joined by lung cancer ambassador Christine Elliott and radon mitigators Todd Despins (Vent Pro Mechanical) and Tysan Jones (All Sask Radon) in hosting an evening radon information session in St. Gregor, SK. This event was spearheaded by St. Gregor Credit Union board member Gail Michel (Auntie Gail to Christine Elliott!) who showed us incredible hospitality and brought in an engaged crowd and media from Discover Humboldt.

The evening featured Christine Elliott sharing her personal experience with radon-induced lung cancer, a "Radon 101" presentation by Lung Sask staff, and a lively panelist discussion with Lung Sask staff, Christine, Todd, and Tysan answering questions from the audience. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to learn more about radon!
