Sign E-Petition to Ban Vape Flavours to Protect Canadian Youth!
Are you concerned about youth vaping? Vaping is a youth and young adult issue, and flavours target youth. There are thousands of flavours that target youth (like cotton candy and bubble gum) and we want the Government of Canada to ban them, with the exception of tobacco flavour.
A shocking 92% of Canadian youth who vape began with a flavoured product, and almost half of the youth surveyed said that they would quit vaping if they no longer had access to them. Amongst the thousands of vape flavour options, the top three preferred flavours cited by Canadian youth are mango, mint/menthol, and berry.
In Canada, Nova Scotia, the Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick, have already adopted legislation, and Quebec just introduced draft regulations to ban the sale of any vape liquid other than tobacco flavour.
Please help protect ALL Canadian youth and sign the e-petition TODAY.
The e-petition was initiated by Bianca Mammarella (Woodbridge, Ontario) and authorized by Liberal MP Francesco Sorbara to ban vape flavours.
