The Wood Fairies Christmas Deed by the late Dr. George Ferguson and illustrated by Liz Toohey-Wiese will be launched at the school which is his namesake, Dr. George Ferguson School.

The launch of this charming Christmas story is made possible thanks to the work of many and the support of the Lung Association of Saskatchewan. The event will include a reading of the short book and an illustrated video of the story.

Dr. George Fergusson, 1883 – 1964 was a pioneer in North America’s fight against tuberculosis and the introduction of free treatment. He served as Medical Director, and General Superintendent of the Saskatchewan Anti-Tuberculosis League Canada.
