- To understand the prognosis and potential complications of Asthma/COPD overlap.
About Dr. Michael Mitar:
Dr. Mitar received his medical degree at the University of Toronto. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency and Respirology fellowship at the University of Western Ontario in 2017. Dr. Mitar is a respirologist and currently has hospital privileges at Niagara Health Sciences - St. Catharine's General Hospital. The scope of his practice includes the full breadth of adult respiratory issues such as COPD, asthma, cough, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, abnormal chest imaging and abnormal pulmonary function testing, among others.
