Smoking, Vaping, and Nicotine Product Presentations in Langenburg, Saskatchewan

The Health Promotion team was invited by Langenburg Central School to provide presentations on smoking, vaping, and nicotine products to students, and to their parents or guardians. On the evening of May 14th, we delivered a presentation specific to parents and were thrilled to have a dozen community members attend. We are thankful for the generosity of the parents in attendance, as they provided Lung Saskatchewan with a donation. On May 15th, we delivered three presentations to over 200 Grade 6-12 students.

Both the student and parent presentations sparked excellent discussions and meaningful conversations both during and after the presentations. Following the presentation, we were pleased to hear that some of the students had disposed of their vapes. Thank you to the community of Langenburg for your engagement and generosity!
