We welcome Dr. Brian Conway, Medical Director of the Vancouver Infectious Diseases Centre and Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of British Columbia as he revisits the importance of vaccination. He will also address hot topics such as: vaccine efficacy and endurance; timing of vaccination to maximize protection, how to manage vaccine misinformation; and strategies to manage vaccine fatigue.
About the Presenter
Dr. Conway is currently the president and medical director of the Vancouver Infectious Diseases Centre and an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University. Dr Conway works in clinical practice 50% of the time and conduct research 50% of the time. He is widely published in the field of infectious diseases and has conducted some of the most important clinical trials in the field, particularly in the field of acute HIV infection, HOV and HCV infection in the inner city and, more recently, COVID. His clinical practice includes consultations in the field of general infectious diseases, including evaluation of prolonged symptoms after a diagnosed COVID infection.
