Lung Sask Staff Featured in STS Outreach Summer 2026 Edition
Lung Saskatchewan is proud to celebrate two members of our team, Jaimie Peters and Jill Hubick, who were recently featured in print in the Superannuated Teachers of Saskatchewan Outreach Summer 2026 edition.
The article focused on an important and timely lung health topic: wildfire smoke and how to protect yourself when air quality is poor. As wildfires continue to affect communities across Saskatchewan and Canada, Jaimie and Jill shared practical information about who is most at risk, how smoke can affect breathing, and what people can do to stay safer both indoors and outdoors.
As registered nurses and Certified Respiratory Educators, Jaimie and Jill play an important role in supporting people across Saskatchewan with trusted, practical lung health information. Through their work with Lung Saskatchewan, they help individuals and families better understand lung disease, navigate care, and take steps to protect their lung health.
We are grateful to the Superannuated Teachers of Saskatchewan for helping share this important information with their members and for recognizing the value of accessible education and support.
