{contact.email_greeting}, November is here, and it’s our favourite month—Lung Month and Radon Action Month! Did you know that 1 in 5 Canadians struggle to breathe? This month, we’re hosting a variety of events, webinars, and podcasts that explore lung health for patients and healthcare professionals, including: November 20th is World COPD Day, dedicated to raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and exploring ways to help those with COPD breathe easier. Check out further details below of our full lineup of events and join us in celebrating Lung Month! The Saskatchewan Quit Smoking Challenge kicks off on November 25th! It’s free and easy to join—and there are great prizes up for grabs! No matter where you may be on your quit journey, this community offers support and encouragement – Join today! At our press conference on November 9th, Lung Ambassadors Kerri Mossing, Christine Elliott, and Luana Hiebert shared their personal journeys with lung cancer and its connection to radon gas exposure. With 10.3 million Canadians living in homes with radon levels higher than the Health Canada recommendation (University of Calgary study), we encourage you to take action on radon and test your home by purchasing a test at HomeRadonTest.ca. Thank you to everyone who joined our Fall Impact Luncheon to celebrate some of Saskatchewan’s incredible lung health champions. Your support fuels our mission, and we’re deeply grateful. Enjoy some inspiring moments captured during the event. Do you have your ticket yet? Our Breathe and Win Raffle is full of great prizes to be won! All funds raised support vital research, advocacy, education, and patient support programs to improve lung health in Saskatchewan. Thank you for your support.
