At Lung Saskatchewan we continue to work to honour the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action to foster reconciliation and healing specifically #18 - 24, #57 and #69. We are sincerely grateful for the many growing partnerships in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 that are supporting learnings about the difference between commercial and sacred tobacco and the harmful effects of tobacco and vaping on youth, as well as work on the history of tuberculosis and residential schools. We continue to learn to be an ally by offering ongoing staff and volunteer education and we will seek change vital to advancing truth and reconciliation in our organization and community.
