Please join us in our mission to protect Canadian youth from the harmful effects of vaping by signing this E-Petition to Ban Vape Flavours (with the exception of tobacco flavor). Thousands of enticing flavors, such as cotton candy and bubble gum, specifically target our youth. Together, we can urge the Government of Canada to enforce this ban, and make a meaningful difference in protecting the health and future of our youth. We are looking forward to our upcoming webinars in the Lung Life Webinar Series as follows: Asthma and Allergies on September 13th, Vaccines 101: Prevention is good medicine on October 3rd, and Spirometry 101: What you need to know on November 1st. Please mark your calendars and register for these informative sessions. Save the date! On October 12th we want to celebrate lung health champions and advancements in Saskatchewan! Whether you're a patient, researcher, healthcare provider, or community partner, this event is for you. Expect inspiring stories, milestone celebrations, networking, and awards. Nominate someone deserving today! We understand the challenges faced by individuals with long COVID (also known as post COVID condition) and that people in Saskatchewan need support. Thanks to the generous support of Saskatchewan Blue Cross, we have launched a comprehensive website providing up-to-date, evidence based, scientific information about long COVID. Find practical tips, tools, and resources to help manage symptoms. Lung Saskatchewan is excited to be partnered with Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF) for the 2022-2024 Solutions Program with a joint investment of $200,000 in the Lung Health Focus Area for the Innovation and Impact Grants. Lung Saskatchewan and SHRF have built a strong relationship over the years with a common objective of supporting health research in Saskatchewan. On behalf of our volunteers and staff, I would like to extend sincere gratitude to all our supporters and donors. Your contributions enable us to continue our mission of improving lung health in Saskatchewan. Thank you! Wishing you all a safe, healthy, and wonderful summer!
