Welcome to a special edition of our newsletter! As the days grow cooler and nights get a bit longer, we begin to look ahead to Fall. This summer has brought some semblance of normalcy for many of us across Saskatchewan, and we want to encourage everyone to please get your COVID-19 vaccine and keep up with proven health practices to keep our communities safe.

Fall has always been whirlwind of activity at The Lung Association of Saskatchewan and this year is no exception. We have a variety of webinars and online meetings for patients, caregivers or health care practitioners to join, thanks to our sponsor, GlaxoSmithKline. Nutrition Information for COPD & Pulmonary Fibrosis

Do you have COPD or pulmonary fibrosis or care for someone who does? Join this online meeting with Karen Davis, Registered Dietician and Certified Respiratory Educator, to learn how to deal with nutrition concerns.

There will be a short presentation followed by an open discussion.

Sleep Apnea & Heart Disease

Tues., Oct. 19th at 7 PM (CST)

Raylene Gabriel, Sleep Nurse Educator and Registered Nurse, from the Saskatoon Sleep Disorders Centre will give a presentation on the links between sleep apnea and heart disease.

There will be time to chat and ask questions after the presentation.
