{contact.email_greeting}, September. Never has there been a more complicated time of fresh starts and new routines. As children go back to school, either in person or virtually, and as families continue to adapt to new ways of doing things, we are reminded of the importance of not only exercising patience and resilience but of staying informed and making the best choices for ourselves and our loved ones.
Speaking of back to school, we are so proud of our Youth4Change teen Ambassadors for their dedication to raising awareness of the harmful effects and alarming rates of vaping among youth. This group has recently been hard at work on a campaign to educate our provincial government on the issue of flavours targeting youth to engage in vaping. Lungs are meant to inhale clean air, not flavoured oil with nicotine. Please support the efforts of this awesome group of young people by sending a note to your MLA, sharing on your social media platforms, and discussing within your bubble - that bubble gum flavoured vaping is NOT ok. From our family at the Lung Association to yours, please continue to take good care and please stay committed to your health and safety and that of your community.
