May 12 is ‘International Nurses Day’ and May 8–14 is ‘National Nurses Week’. We are happy to celebrate the two registered nurses on our team, our very own Jill Hubick and Jaimie Peters! Thank you for the amazing work you do to promote lung health in Saskatchewan. Likewise, on May 31, ‘World No Tobacco Day’ will be observed around the globe. In line with this day, our 2022 Saskatchewan Quits Challenge will kick off on May 31 and run until June 30. Are you, or someone you know, thinking about reducing or quitting smoking? If so, register here. There will be weekly challenges and prizes, resources, community support as well as free Nicotine Replacement Therapy sample kit for participants. Great news!
