{contact.email_greeting}, Happy New Year! With a new year comes new opportunities for growth and as always we are grateful to have you by our side as we forge ahead in 2022. You may have noticed something different about our logo and colours! We are pleased to announce that as part of our rebranding strategy, we have updated our key brand elements with a new name, logo, and website. Through the years, we have experienced tremendous progress, especially with the support of committed people like you. Our dedication to our continuous improvement and growth birthed the commencement of our ongoing brand evolution. Our goal is to refresh our brand elements to clearly capture our identity and to position us to serve our communities better with the work that we do through education, research, health promotion, and advocacy. As a team, we are truly excited about our new brand identity as it reinforces our unwavering commitment to improving lung health in Saskatchewan. New Name! After careful consideration, we chose a name that clearly expresses our mandate and that would improve our brand image. Effective January 2022, we will now be known as Lung Saskatchewan (Lung Sask for short). New Look! Our new logo and colours deeply reflect what we represent, capture the work that we do, and our dynamic future. This new logo is shown as a circle with lungs from which bronchial tubes or roots, grow into a tree. The circle represents the interdependence of not only the lungs within the body, but also the interdependence of all that we do in research, education, care, and advocacy within the communities we serve in Saskatchewan, and across Canada. The lungs represent our reason for being, that with which we breathe, draw energy and sustain life. The bronchial tubes or roots growing from the lungs represent our growth and evolution in all we do. Last but not least, the tree represents the strength of our foundation, our ability to weather challenges, and our connection to the earth. New Interaction! Our new website has all the information from the old website and is now more intuitive and user-friendly. It features our new brand colours and logo with improved navigations and add-ons to give users a quality overall experience.
We hope you join us in celebrating this new chapter and we thank you for your continued support to improve lung health, one breath at a time. Sincerely, Erin Kuan President & CEO |
