{contact.email_greeting}, I hope this beautiful month of May finds you breathing just a little easier. While the spring can often be difficult for some due to the seemingly unending dust and allergies, it truly is a time of re-growth and new beginnings. At The Lung Association we continue to celebrate each time a staff or family member receives a vaccine, as we know it’s a small step, and not the final one, towards new beginnings of being able to visit safely with family and friends and travel to the places we love.
With so much information available on vaccines, viruses, and progress occurring daily; we encourage you to ensure you choose the most reliable and scientific evidence-based sources of information. We encourage you to follow us on social media, along with Saskatchewan Health Authority, World Health Organization and Public Health Agency of Canada for some of the most reliable and timely information.
This month we’ve had the privilege to connect with so many of you already, and there are many more opportunities to do so. Whether you have been able to attend an educational webinar, support group information sessions, register for our professional education event in June, or simply support the organization by purchasing a raffle ticket, we are sincerely grateful for your engagement. From our family at The Lung Association to yours, please continue to take good care and please stay committed to your health and safety and that of your community. Erin Kuan – President & CEO |
